"Yep, the early 50's,". Andy Ant continued, "the nest was in the desert of New Mexico, had been forever, we tend to stay in one place, when the humans came into our area and started building towns. Now from an ant pov humans can be annoying, no offense, Bob" said Andy with a wiggle of his antennae. "None taken," said Bob raising his cup to Andy, "we kinda feel the same way toward ants."
"Fair enough", replied Andy. "Any way the good thing about humans is that they always and I mean always have sugar and leave some around where a hard working ant can find some.
So when we saw that the humans were building a town, the Queen sent the scouts out who soon returned to the nest with the good news of sugar in abundance. So out went the collection crews. Well, for a long time life was good. All the sugar the nest could want  and TV.
Now, you kids have no idea what TV was like back in the 50's .."Father Knows Best..The Gail Storm Show.."26 Men" and the "Million Dollar Movie"....good clean stuff that the whole nest could enjoy.  That is where I got my love for the movies".
"Anyway, one day there was this big bang and a very bright flash.
Well, now it did not hurt the nest none as we tend to go out at night, cooler in the desert, and we were deep in our home. First thing we noticed was that that nice town and all the sugar was gone. blown to bits. That did make the nest sad for a spell, but the queen said that we had to put it behind us and get on with being ants.
well , you know the strangest thing was the the nest seemed to shrink and we had to do a powerful lot of work resizing it.".....To be continued"

Islam is again a force in the world.
For 300 years they were in decline, "The sick man of Europe" led by the example of Atatürk, they tried Western ways and were colonized and worse defeated in four wars by the Izzy's.

The Ayatollahs gave them back their warrior pride.

In their mind, they drove out the USSR, that is what made Benny a hero to them and now we fall on our knees and kiss the Koran over this burning business, instead of telling them to go to hell, and demanding the life of the Afghan who shot our men and loosing B-52's if we are not obeyed.

They see it as fear and weakness sent upon the Franks by the hand of Allah as a reward for their return to the purity of Islam.

At this stage we must either do a Dresden on them, which I don't think the folks in D.C. will do, as the American People would not approve of burning cities with closeups of blasted children and women on the nightly news or declare victory use our own oil, gas and coal and leave them to rot.

Seems that it cost millions more now to supply our troops in Afghanistan.
Why?
Well Pakistan wont allow us to use the shorter route in their land.
The fellas and girls in foggy bottom have their lace undies in a twist as to how to handle this.
I have the anwer...deduct the additional cost plus 25% from the "AID" we give these creatures. If they don't like that, cut them all off and use some of the money to give arms to India.
I think that I have a future in foreign relations.

Tell ya a story, about 30 years ago.
I was reading the bio of one of the famous SOF types of that day.
Fella had been and done: Russia to the Congo to Indochina.
Any way, there was a line..where he said.".All true soldiers are idealists, if you stop and think about it and it is that idealism which allows pols of any nation to screw them..the thing is ..even if they know that in their heads..their hearts still want to cling to the noble ideal and the better the soldier the deeper the faith.

The hardest thing for such a person is to see the world as it is.
To wake from that wonderfull dream...and to stay awake.

If the RULES say that people can cross party lines to vote and Ron Paul, playing by the established rules wins..how is that "hi-jacking"?

Now if Romy won..it would be spun as "Proof of Mit's ability as a "Vote getter" a man able to reach across party lines...a uniter...etc..
BUT if the wrong guy wins...the same result is "a danger to the electoral progress" support that may return to Obama..

P.S. I don't hate Mr. Obama. I think that he is trying to do his best for America as he sees it.
In fact, I would prefer Mr. Obama to a two faced RINO. Having said that, I oppose his policies and his view of the future and the role of America in the world is NOT mine. I don't agree with his policies and will be pleased to see him retire to the lecture circuit in 2012.

Fellas.

Ron Paul is sounding better to me each time I hear him.
By his answers, it is clear that he knows and respects the Constitution.
For example: When questions were raised on Obamacare,the other candidates swore that they, if elected, would "repeal" it.
The President CANNOT repeal a law and only Ron Paul seemed to know this.
As to Iran, every one. except Ron Paul seemed happy and eager to start an other war...with out a declaration of war.

Now, I admit, I like war. I came by that honestly. I grew up watching John Wayne and joined the Marines as soon as I was old enough. That was against family advice as they wanted me to go to collage first, but I feared that the war might be over if I delayed.

I opposed the USSR and you fellas know how I feel about 9/11.

As to Iran and WMDs, face it, that is nothing but gun control writ large and for the same reasons.

The only way that the elite are going to feel safe is if we conquer and control and disarm the world but they don't have the stomach for it.

If we are not going to declare war and use all of our power at what ever hazard to win victory, if the game is not worth the candle, stay home.

We left Iraq after 9 years of war and they burned our flag and gave us the finger. We defend Europe in NATO from a USSR that has been gone for 20 years, while most of Europe had a better standard of living than we did as they did not have to support their own defense. Now we are bailing out the banks of Europe and borrowing from red China to do it...I sometimes think that the whole political world is having a bad LSD trip..bummer man.

I don't think Ron Paul is perfect, I would put tariffs in place, which he won't but I do say that he is by far the best of the lot.

Last I heard, we are not at war with Iran..if we are, I seem to have read that Congress has to declare it? As to commando raid..Why? Any tech info is already in China and in any case I was always told the the key for a good raid was surprise..that is going to be hard to get. If a squad of SEALs or Recon types are sent in and captured..what than?
