Rex of the Diplomatic service--Pakistan
Seems that it cost millions more now to supply our troops in Afghanistan.
Why?
Well Pakistan wont allow us to use the shorter route in their land.
The fellas and girls in foggy bottom have their lace undies in a twist as to how to handle this.
I have the anwer...deduct the additional cost plus 25% from the "AID" we give these creatures. If they don't like that, cut them all off and use some of the money to give arms to India.
I think that I have a future in foreign relations.

A wise man.
Tell ya a story, about 30 years ago.
I was reading the bio of one of the famous SOF types of that day.
Fella had been and done: Russia to the Congo to Indochina.
Any way, there was a line..where he said.".All true soldiers are idealists, if you stop and think about it and it is that idealism which allows pols of any nation to screw them..the thing is ..even if they know that in their heads..their hearts still want to cling to the noble ideal and the better the soldier the deeper the faith.
The hardest thing for such a person is to see the world as it is.
To wake from that wonderfull dream...and to stay awake.
I KNOW..
Now..I have two rules: Always get paid in full and up front and always plan your own escape route."
I remember thinking..boy, is he screwed up.
Now I am starting to think that he was a lot smarter.. wiser than I could understand back then.

The Don has a sitdown.
The Don has a sit down...
The USA cannot go broke...it is all smoke and mirrors.
What is money? it is something that you give in exchange for something.
As Long as the other person or nation will accept it ..it has value.
Well, the USG has enough firepower to ensure that other nations accept the dollar.
It is like the Mob in a way...
Just WHO is NOT going to accept THE DON's IOU?
USG talking to another government at a "Sit down"
USG.."So ya don't want to show respect is that it?"
Other Gov.(OG).."No..No..it is just the the value of the dollar.."
USG..."What have I done that makes you act like this to me?"

America awake..
Islam went into a decline starting in 1492 when the trade routes changed from the Med to the Atlantic and that decline continued till 1950.
Let a President and a Congress take office, strong enough to subdue the Oil lobby and the Greens..stange bed fellows it seems but think about it..
Let free our coal..gas..atomic..powers and Islam is back to selling dates and rugs and what is more the moor knows it. The problem is that we do not.
